About the Artist

Betty Kay Becker is the owner of Allée Cerise Designs, a noted Colorado jewelry and glass design firm. Betty Kay received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Southern Colorado in 1976; she subsequently moved to North Carolina for several years where she taught art and design courses at Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte.
She has studied with experts in art glass design across the U.S., and has shown her work at various art and jewelry exhibitions. After first experimenting with a variety of jewelry design techniques, Betty Kay has broadened her approach with an eclectic passion to apply new techniques to traditional art.
